Note: Not all settings below appear in every race style menu. Settings that are unique to a race style are noted below, when applicable.

Car-Specific Settings

Select an option to specify if the game will use the car specific settings or not. This option includes Disabled, Changing this option to disabled will apply the global settings even if you have created a car with specific settings. The default is Disabled.

Edit Camera Settings

Select an option to specify if the changes will be global and be used for all cars or if they will only be used with the current car. This option includes Global and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. The default is set to Global.

Camera

Select an option to specify which camera to edit. This option includes TV Pod, TV Pod offset, Near Chase, Far Chase, Cockpit, Nose (alt), Nose, and Wing. The default is set to TV Pod.

Field of View

Adjust to change the camera’s field of view. A higher field of view allows you to see more in your periphery, but objects will appear further away.  A lower field of view brings objects in front of you closer, but less can be seen in your periphery. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0.

Offset: Lateral

Adjust to move the camera left or right. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0.

Offset: Horizontal

Adjust to move the camera forwards and backwards. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0.

Offset: Vertical

Adjust to move the camera up or down. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0.

Angle

Adjust the angles of the camera up or down. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0. 

Near Clip Plane

Adjust to change the distance that the vehicle is rendered from the camera to help prevent camera clipping issues. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 0. 

Mirror Angle

Adjust to change the distance that the angle of the car’s mirrors up and down. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to -20.

Camera Shake

Adjust to change the amount of camera shake. The option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 20.

Camera Movement

Adjust to change the decree of the camera movement. This option has a value range of -20 to 20. The default is set to 20.

Look to Apex Limit

Adjust the degree of which the camera automatically turns towards the apex of a corner. This option has a value range of 0 to 15. The default is set to 4.

Halo Column

Turn On/Off to enable or disable the Halo Column. When turned on the central column of the car’s halo protection system is not drawn to provide the driver with a less obstructed view. The default is set to On.
