GAME OPTIONS SETTINGS

Favorite Team

Select favorite team to be used as the default team throughout the game.

Offensive Playbook

Select teams based on options such as Team Specific, State, Balanced, Pistol, etc.

Defensive Playbook

Select teams based on options such as Team Specific, State, 4-3, 3-4, 46, etc.

Even Teams

Use ON/OFF switch to select team option.

Difficulty

Skill Level allows you to choose either Rookie, Pro, All-Pro, or All- Madden. Rookie is the easiest level and All-Madden is the most difficult.

Game Style allows you to choose how you want to play the game.  Arcade Mode has over the top action filled with spectacular plays, lots of scoring, and limited penalties. Simulation Mode allows you to play true to the player and team ratings, with authentic NFL rules and gameplay. Competitive Mode uses user stick skills to the fullest.

Quarter Length

Select to change the length of each quarter

Play Clock

Turn ON/OFF switch to enable or disable the clock.

Accelerated Speed Clock

Turn ON/OFF to speed up the clock after play call if a play was chosen quickly. You can’t use this in Franchise Mode.

Minimum Play Clock Time

Select to choose how long the play clock will run after a play is selected.

Coin Toss 1st Choice

Select your choice for the 1st coin toss. You can choose Receive, Kick, With Wind, or Against Wind.

Coin Toss 2ND Choice

Select your choice for the 2nd coin toss. You can’t choice the same option as the first choice.

Auto Flip Defensive Play Call

Turn ON/OFF so CPU will flip your defensive play to best match the offensive formation.

Defensive Ball Hawk

Turn ON/OFF to allow user-controlled defenders to automatically move into position when catching the ball. Disabling this function can cause user defenders to attack the ball less aggressively in the air.

Defensive Heat Seeker Assist

Turn ON/OFF to control if defenders are steered toward the ball carrier when attempting to run or dive into them.

Defensive Switch Assist

Turn ON/OFF to help user and prevent them from taking their new player out of the play when switching defenders.

Coach Mode

Turn ON/OFF to make the Quarterback automatically throw the ball if you don’t take control after the snap.

Injuries

Adjusts the chance of injuries during the game. A lower setting means lower injury. The value range is 0-100.

Fatigue

Adjusts the amount of fatigue to a player during gameplay. A lower value means players will fatigue slower. The value range is 0-100.

Player Speed Parity Scale

Adjusts the speed of the players. A lower number creates a greater separation between the fastest and slowest players. The value range is 0-100.
