Accessibility Settings

NHL® 21 offers a variety of accessibility options including visual, audio, controller, and chat settings. This menu allows you to adjust those features such as color blindness, player indicator and puck size, menu, arena, and commentary volume.

Quick Settings

NHL® 21 offers the ability to change a broad spectrum of game settings in one place. This menu allows you to set your experience or comfort level with the game, difficulty, the type of controls you would like to use during game play, and more. You can change these settings anytime.

Game Settings

NHL® 21 allows you to customize gameplay settings fully. In this menu you can change gameplay pre-sets either to those that you have created or pre-determined ones as well as choose game style, period length, difficulty, and a variety of camera options.

Audio & Visual Settings

NHL® 21 has a plethora of visual and volume settings that are all adjustable. This includes camera settings, puck highlight and size, score clock overlay, music volume, and arena volume. Some of these options are also available in this menu as well.

On-Ice Trainer Settings

NHL® 21 strives to be adaptive as possible. This setting menu allows you to integrate control hints, based on your skill level, above a player while playing, as well as feedback hints, pass targeting and suggestions, and goalie coverage grid, to name a few.

Controller Settings

NHL® 21 has many controller settings to choose from to make your game experience unique. These options include vibration, goalie controls, as well as shows diagrams for all in-game controls.

Rules

NHL® 21 allows you to have control over the rules the players adhere to during the game. This menu settings allows you to control fighting, icing, injuries, tie break, and penalty time scaling. You can change these settings at any time.

Gameplay Settings

NHL® 21 has many gameplay settings to customize all aspects of the game. This includes general settings like the version of the game you play and game speed to the frequency of penalties and puck control. Most settings in this menu are customizable for both CPU and Human (user-controlled) players.
