Gameplay Presets

Select a packaged experience to provide a unique gameplay experience. This option includes Arcade, Traditional, Competitive, and Full Sim. The default is set to Arcade.

Game Style

Select a game style to change the overall feel of the game. This option includes a range value of 1 to 4. Arcade is faster paced, and most extreme. Full Sim is the most realistic setting. The default is set to 1 (Arcade).

Rules

Select an option to choose the type of Rule system that will be used during your gameplay. Choose from an existing league or select your own custom rules. The default is set to NHL.

Period Length

Select the length of each period. This has a value range of 3 to 20 minutes. The default is set to 3 minutes.

Difficulty

Select to change the difficulty level of the game. Rookie is the easiest and Superstar is the most difficult. The default is set to Semi-Pro.

Camera

Select the angle and height of the in-game camera. This option includes Dynamic Low, Dynamic Medium, Dynamic High, Zone, Action, Ice, Classic, Overhead, Broadcast, and True Broadcast. The default is set to Dynamic Medium.

Goalie Camera

Select to adjust the goalie camera height to get closer or farther from the action. This option includes Low, High, Fixed, Action, Ice, Classic, Overhead, Broadcast, True Broadcast, Dynamic Low, Dynamic Medium, Dynamic High, and Zone. The default is set to Low.

Shootout Camera

Select to adjust the angle and the height of the camera during a shootout. This option includes Dynamic Low, Dynamic Medium, Dynamic High, Zone, Low, Medium, High, Ice, Overhead, Classic, and True Broadcast. The default is set to Dynamic Low.

Away Line Changes

Select to adjust line changes. Select manual for user-controlled line changes. Select auto for hands-off line changing. The default is set to Auto.

Away Shot Aim

Select to adjust aiming. Select aim assist for computer assisted aiming and manual for user-controlled aiming. The default is set to Manual.

Home Line Changes

Select to adjust line changes. Select manual for user-controlled line changes and auto for hands-off line changing. The default is set to Auto.

Home Shot Aim

Select to adjust aiming. Select aim assist for computer assisted aiming and manual for user-controlled aiming. The default is set to Manual.
