PARTICIPATING TEAMS
The qualified teams for EACC Autumn 2021 are chosen by EA, based on their placement in Domestic Qualifying Events. The full list of teams and their respective groupings are as follows:
THE REIGNING CHAMPIONS FROM THAILAND: FAZE CLAN
FaZe Clan, the defending champions from the recently concluded EACC Summer 2021 are back to defend their title in EACC Autumn 2021! With 11 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw from the EACC Summer 2021 tournament, FaZe Clan will be hoping to continue their strong run in the Autumn 2021 edition and win back-to-back championship titles.
THE RETURNING CHAMPIONS FROM SOUTH KOREA: Liiv SANDBOX
Korean team Liiv SANDBOX (previously known as Sandbox Gaming), champions of EACC Winter 2019 returns to contend for the EACC Autumn 2021 title. Retaining the same roster from their 2019 run, WooJin, ChangYeon and HyunWoo will look to topple all their opponents in Group B to make another championship run for South Korea.
THE CHALLENGERS FROM VIETNAM: TONY TONYY AND DIH ESPORT
TonyTonyy and DIH Esport have qualified yet again, reprising their appearance in EACC Summer 2021, but will be looking to better their performances in EACC Autumn 2021. Both teams were knocked out in the Group stage previously with 1 win, 3 losses, 2 draws and 1 win, 4 losses,1 draw respectively and will be determined to advance further into the tournament this time around.
THE NEW CONTENDERS FROM CHINA
Three new teams will be representing China for EACC Autumn 2021 – Tai Shan SC, Olympique Lyonnais eSports Team, and YanBian Magical Gaming. With a combination of veterans and new players, these teams will look to make a name for themselves in this tournament, especially Tai Shan SC who has been drawn into the same group as defending champions FaZe Clan in Group A.
DRAFT RESULTS
All invited teams participated in a draft day on 10 September where each team was assigned a randomized group and draw order to determine their position in the snake-draft, with a total of 12 rounds. Draft results from 10 September are as follow:
