What we offer

A lot of companies say their people come first. Here are the ways we demonstrate that they do.

Health & Well-being

We want you to take care of yourself. Not only do we offer comprehensive health coverage, but we also focus on holistic health. Mental health support is available to all eligible employees and their eligible dependents.

Perks

Our work is play, so we offer game credits and console reimbursement, letting you get in on the games we create. Additionally, we offer fitness reimbursement to help keep you active in your off-time.

Families Matter

Your family is part of our family, too. We offer paid caregiver leave and new parent leave for eligible employees.

Time Off

We believe in working hard and playing hard, even when our work is play. Stay on top of your game with paid vacation and holidays. We also offer leave of absence coverage, because we understand life happens.

Total Rewards

We want you to feel real ownership at EA. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer bonuses, stock options, an employee stock purchase plan, and a 401k with matching.

Inclusion & Diversity are at the Heart of EA Orlando

Our strength is in the diversity of our people and we strive to build an inclusive culture where everyone can find belonging and do their best work. EA Orlando leaders are committed to creating a collaborative environment where our people thrive and enjoy the same access to opportunity.

Employee Resource Groups

Our commitment to inclusion and diversity comes from within. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led organizations that unite people around a common affinity or shared experience to normalize and unite the diversity we seek to represent, as well as foster a diverse, inclusive, and connected workplace.

In Orlando, six ERGs bring employees together to build a culture of allyship and contribute directly to our inclusion and diversity pillars in our studio and in our community.

What brought you to EA?

I joined EA as a technical art intern in summer 2006 and was offered a full-time job after graduation. I first joined EA Chicago and then transferred over to EA Orlando in January 2008. Now, I’m the senior technical art director overlooking the technical artists and tech art features on Madden.

What has kept you here?

EA is currently one of the best places to work right now in terms of innovative tech in the entertainment industry. Also, as EA is worldwide, it has multiple projects that span different genres, that can excite candidates no matter where their interests lie.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

I love Central Florida, especially the weather and access to outdoor sports/activities throughout the year.

Software Engineering Manager, Frostbite UI

What brought you to EA?

I joined EA’s Orlando studio as a software engineer on Madden back in 2012. Orlando has been my home ever since, though I have worked on many different teams within the studio.

What has kept you here?

We have some of the greatest minds doing brilliant things in domains across the board. To complement that, EA has one of the best mentor programs I have ever been a part of. People from all areas of the company working to guide each other toward excellence and providing a safe space to grow.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

The great thing about Orlando is how sprawling it is. You can live on a few acres of farmland with goats and horses, and still be a short commute from the studio; or you can live in the heart of downtown and walk to work. At the end of the day, whatever you enjoy, whatever living situation works best for you, Central Florida’s got you covered. Unless, of course, you like mountains.

Felix Rivero

Role and Team

Software Engineer Tech Owner, EA SPORTS College Football

What brought you to EA?

Getting into the game industry back in 2002 was quite a challenge. To help get noticed, I created my own college football tailgating video game called ‘Gatorman’ and it grew a following among University of Florida football fans. This paid off as I was interviewed by EA Tiburon and joined the NCAA Football team, where I served as a software engineer for over a decade until moving to the Madden team.

What has kept you here?

Being at EA Tiburon for almost 20 years, I’ve really seen the studio grow exponentially in its commitment to inclusion and diversity. We’re at an all-time high for inclusiveness at the studio and I’m proud to work in an environment that is encouraging individuals to be their true selves.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

Central Florida is the perfect melting pot of so many types of living. There is an active downtown, major theme attractions and calm suburbia all within reach.

Marketing Leadership Rotation Program

What brought you to EA?

I joined EA in 2018 as a contractor on the email marketing team based out of Orlando and later accepted a role as a dynamic messaging producer on the NBA Live team. Currently, I’m participating in a one-year program for high-performing marketers to get a holistic understanding of the overall marketing organization and, in turn, prepare for leadership roles at EA.

What has kept you here?

We have access to the designers, producers and developers, so we’re able to influence the games much earlier in the development cycle. My favorite thing about being in EA Orlando, however, is the people I’ve met. The ERG community in Orlando is second to none.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

Orlando is becoming a tech hub and pursuing an opportunity at EA allowed me to step into the industry. My family loves Orlando and we weren’t willing to relocate to the West Coast just to get into tech.

Jessica Cesario

Role and Team

Dynamic Messaging Producer, Madden Ultimate Team (MUT)

What brought you to EA?

I joined EA Tiburon in 2017 as a graphic design intern. I applied for the position at EA Tiburon, to be honest, because my sister made me! She’s always been a big fan of my graphic design work and knew the work would be perfect for me.

What has kept you here?

My favorite thing about working at the Orlando studio has been the abundance of opportunity. I worked hard and made my way from an art intern to the lead of the MUT art team. When there was opportunity within my current discipline, I asked if I could try my hand at it – and it ended up being a really good fit! I wouldn’t have been able to discover and achieve this growth without the support of my leadership at this studio.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

I enjoy the culture in Central Florida. There are strong pockets of almost any type of community, hobby, food, etc., that you’re looking for! There is a lot to do that is here year-round, and plenty of venues for traveling events. Also, you never have to deal with snow.

Rebeca Cuciuc

What brought you to EA?

I joined EA Romania in 2006 as a human resources manager. In 2019, I transferred from my role of people practices director for Romania, Ireland and Israel to Florida and took on a people practices director role for our US-East region.

What has kept you here?

I value that EA encourages and supports its employees to own their careers. I had honest conversations with my manager about my career aspirations and so came the Orlando adventure. It was she who suggested I consider this opportunity, knowing my interests in pursuing an international career.

Why do you enjoy living in Central Florida?

Central Florida’s endless opportunities to spend time outdoors really helped my family adapt, meet new people and discover new places and activities. We developed a new passion for kayaking, and during summer months, bioluminescent kayaking became a must do.
