LevelCap’s video gives you a great look at the Customization and Specialization options available for weapons in Battlefield™ V.
Customization only affects the look of your weapon, whereas Specialization allows you to actually change elements of its performance. You can get your hands on new weapon skins by completing Assignments, leveling up your weapon, buying them with Company Coin, or purchasing them with real-world money. Skins can change the look of muzzles, magazines, stocks, barrels, grips, and optics.
Specializations can be unlocked by using your weapons in battle, and spending the in-game currency Company Coin you earn from doing so. You’ll then have access to a progression tree, where you can choose options (like hip-fire accuracy, recoil, and more) that will upgrade your weapon to suit your specific playstyle.
You can learn more about the weapons you’ll have access to here. Have some more questions? Find your answers on our Battlefield V Boot Camp page.
