Blaze Through Gem Explorers Using These Tips

Want to complete more missions in Gem Explorers? Worry you not. Follow these tips to complete all your missions quicker –

1) Special Gems – Special Gems comprise of Flame Gems, Star Gems, and Hypercubes. Creating Special Gems is quite easy. A little bit of skill and speed can quickly help you create gems of your choice.

1. Flame Gems - Use the Blazing Steed Rare Gem as it puts out eight Flame Gems at the end of each game. You can also use the Mystery Boost for a chance to increase the number of Flame Gems destroyed in a game.
2. Star Gems – Using a Rare Gem that transforms nearby gems to its own color, like Coralite or Glitterbug, can be helpful in creating Star Gems on the board. You can find such Rare Gems in the featured section of your Item Box.
3. Hypercubes – Snow Glove coupled with Mystery Boost can significantly increase the Hypercubes on your board. Pandamonium also puts out Hypercubes at the end of each game. 

2) Colored Gems – Color Blast Boost is an excellent option for creating more gems of a specific color. Coupled with a Rare Gem, it can enhance your chances of completing a mission that asks to destroy specific colored gems. You can use the below suggestions for Rare Gems along with Color Blast and Rarifier –

• Orange – Autumnthyst, Unicharm or Citrine
• White – Rainbow Bloom, Howlite or Pandamonium
• Yellow – Rising Star, Crystalada or Kernel Pop
• Red – Glitterbug, Boomstone or Fruby
• Purple – Coralite, High Roller or Hamethyst
• Blue – Snowglove, Blue Thunder or Aquamarine
• Green – Flutterfly, Leprecharm or WhichWitch

3) Blazing Speed – Getting to Blazing Speed twice in a game can be easily accomplished using the following tips:

1. Use the Blazing Steed Rare Gem. It starts the game at blazing speed.
2. Upgrade Scrambler Boost and use it multiple times. Each time you scramble, the Blazing Speed meter goes up by +200 points.
3. Use Quickfire Boost as it triggers Blazing Speed every time you tap on it.

4) High Scores –

There are numerous ways to attain high scores and most players have their unique strategies for the same. The following tips can serve as a guide to formulate your combination for high scores -

1. Understand your Boosts – Each Boost has a primary function and most of them have an additional result that can be used to improve gameplay. For example, Detonator blasts all Special Gems and Rare Gems on your board and adds a Multiplier bonus. Extra Time gives you 5 additional seconds at the end of the game and gives you a score bonus for every match made during that period. Quickifire triggers Blazing Speed and gives you a score bonus for every match made in the subsequent 8 seconds.
2. Find the right combination – After you have studied each Boost, try various combinations to figure out the best one. Watch out for the ones that can amplify your score, like Extra Time, as it gives you a score bonus for every match made when it is active. See if you can further enhance your results by using Encore.
3. Upgrade your Boosts – Upgrading a Boost enhances its function and improves the results of using it. For example, upgrading Color Blast can reduce the number of matches required to trigger it. Upgrading Detonator can increase the multiplier bonus and upgrading Scrambler can increase its uses within the game.

5) Blitz Champions – For missions that want you to play Blitz Champions, play any ‘All Win’ contest like Gold Masters or Mystery Monday, Terrific Thursday etc., to win assured rewards. So, eventually you get rewarded twice for playing the same contest once.
