Match Week 7 of the FC Pro Open will see the five players in Group C battle for just two Finals places.
However, before Vejrgang, AbuMakkah, SeanLDW, AntoniniGabriel and ManuBachoore can get going on Monday night (January 22), they each need to make their respective FC Pro Draft selections.
What is the FC Pro Draft?
With FC Pro Draft, competitors will be set a budget in coins that they must adhere to. As an example, for the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier in November last year, the budget was set at 8,000,000 coins. Competitors need to build a full squad – their starting XI and subs – that stays within this budget and submit it before the deadline.
The budget amount will change throughout the FC Pro Open, making the job of building a competitive squad even tougher.
Match Week 7 Draft Requirements
For Match Week 7, a new budget has been set. Players in Group C are able to spend 15,000,000 coins assembling their complete squads. They must also select a minimum of one Men's Team of the Year item, and one Women's Team of the Year item.
So, with that in mind, let's take a look at who the five players in Group C have drafted.
AbuMakkah
Lying second in Group C heading into MW7, AbuMakkah has opted for a very attacking squad in his bid to reach the Finals.
The Saudi star sets his side up in a 4-2-4 system, with a sensational attacking quartet of TOTY Erling Haaland (97), Winter Wildcard Pele (96), base Kylian Mbappe (91) and TOTY Sophia Smith (95).
His squad has a chemistry rating of 32.
AntoniniGabriel
Italian AntoniniGabriel has also chosen the 4-2-4 formation, although, unlike AbuMakkah, he has included Hero David Ginola (89) on the left and In-Form Mbappe (92) up top.
Elsewhere, the EKO Sports standout is the only player to select the 92-rated Centurions Kevin de Bruyne item - who he pairs alongside Versus Ice Rodri (91).
AntoniniGabriel's squad chemistry is 29 overall.
ManuBachoore
With hopes of turning his fortunes around in Group C, ManuBachoore is the only player to deploy a 4-3-2-1 system.
Similarly, he is alone in picking TOTS Sam Kerr (96) in attack, who is flanked by TOTS Haaland and Trailblazer Mbappe (92).
The Dutchman has stayed loyal to his team boss by selecting Icon Ruud Gullit in midfield alongside base Alexis Putellas (91) and UCL Live Jude Bellingham (89).
While he may have the lowest squad chemistry (27), his midfield trio do pack a goalscoring punch.
SeanLDW
While the German's attack looks very familiar, he has taken some risks in defence, choosing to select the 89-rated Hero Lucio over Yashin at Centre-back.
Similarly, Winter Wildcard Michael Laudrup (90) at Right-back is another unique choice, as is Radioactive Federico Valderde (90) in midfield.
Deployed in a 4-2-4 formation, SeanLDW's squad has a chemistry of just 28.
Vejrgang
Last up is the Group leader, Vejrgang, who is the fourth player to use a 4-2-4.
This system has allowed the Dane to accommodate Versus Ice Neymar Jr (93) in his side - while also fitting in TOTS Haaland and base item Mbappe.
Further back, Vejrgang is the only player in Group C to choose base Van Dijk instead of his In-Form item, while his Centre-back partner - Icon Paolo Maldini (92) - is another novel selection.
Worryingly for his opponents, the RBLZ star's squad chemistry is a perfect 33.
