FIFA 14 players going from Xbox 360 or PlayStation3 to Xbox One or PlayStation 4 already know that they’ll be able to continue their progress in various modes on next-gen consoles. Gamers will be glad to know that they won’t have to start a career from scratch on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
While it is not possible to transfer your Career mode player or club data from one console generation to the next, there are a number of rewards that can help make the transition easier.
When commencing a Career on PS4 and Xbox One, the following perks will be applied, based on the number of games played on PS3 or 360:
Tier 1 = Played at least 15 games
Tier 2 = Played at least one season
Tier 3 = Played at least two seasons
Once you begin playing FIFA 14 on either Xbox One or PlayStation 4, the game will recognize if you have played FIFA 14 on the corresponding previous platform; including the number of Career Mode games played. The game will automatically inform you of any carryover perks that apply to your gaming progress.
Anytime you start a new Career, you will be presented with a screen highlighting your rewards as well as the option to disable some of them for that particular CM save file.
Please note that you need to have played at least 15 games of Career Mode on either Xbox 360 or PS3 to qualify for these perks.
