• EA SPORTS FIFA Disciplinary Update November 20, 2018

    Following rulings made by the FIFA 19 Global Series Disciplinary Committee we are announcing suspensions for the following players from sanctioned EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series events (qualification, live events, online events, or EA sanctioned events) for violations of the FIFA 19 Global Series Official Rules and FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct:

    • AJAX Joey
    • Taktikkeule
    • Yolan

     

    AJAX Joey

    AJAX Joey was suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 6th, 2018 for Code of Conduct Violations. The suspension included eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 qualifier for the December LQE.

     

    This player was suspended for content of messages sent to other players. The content of these messages included hate speech and the amount and duration of messages constitute harassment. The suspension in this case was limited due to the dates of the provided evidence, and the lack of direct attacks in recent messages. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violation for which the player was suspended for is:

    • Harassing, threatening, bullying, engaging in hate speech, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, or making personal attacks or statements about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.;

    Taktikkeule

    Taktikkeule was suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 16th, 2018 for Code of Conduct Violations. The suspension included eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 qualifier for the December LQE and the November 10th-11th, 2018 qualifier for the FUT Champions Cup - December.

     

    This player was suspended after a connection was found between his accounts and accounts used for sending messages to other players, the content of these messages and the amount and duration of messages constitute harassment. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violation for which the player is being suspended is:

    • Harassing, threatening, bullying, engaging in hate speech, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, or making personal attacks or statements about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.;

    Yolan

    Yolan was suspended from all sanctioned FIFA 19 Global Series events until November 16th, 2018 for Code of Conduct Violations. The suspension included eligibility to compete in the November 3rd-4th, 2018 qualifier for the December LQE and the November 10th-11th, 2018 qualifier for the FUT Champions Cup - December.

     

    This player was suspended on suspicion of account sharing and for content of messages sent to other players. The content of these messages included threats. Specifically, the FIFA 19 Global Series Code of Conduct violation for which the player is being suspended is:

    • Harassing, threatening, bullying, engaging in hate speech, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, or making personal attacks or statements about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.;
    • Publishing, posting, uploading or distributing content, or organizing/participating in any activity, group or guild that EA (acting reasonably and objectively) determines is inappropriate, abusive, hateful, harassing, profane, defamatory, threatening, hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, infringing, privacy-invasive, vulgar, offensive, indecent or unlawful;
