EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile is getting some amazing new visual and audio updates when it launches on September 26th and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on.

From an updated broadcast package to new stadium chants, we are committed to providing you with a truly immersive gaming experience. In this Deep Dive, we're taking a closer look at the visual and audio upgrades in store for you in the upcoming EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile!

Immersive Broadcast Experience

One of the areas we heavily focused on for EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile is enhancing our Match Experience. The World's Game has never looked better, as we take our visuals to the next level with an upgrade to the Broadcast package and overall Gameplay experience.

New Gameplay Camera

Upon entering FC Mobile for the first time, you will notice our brand-new EA SPORTS™ Camera. It provides a more broadcast look and feel and allows you to enjoy the stadium atmosphere like never before. Its lower height also makes it ideal for our Gesture Controls.

New Set Piece Cameras

Set Pieces are tailored for the Mobile platform, as you have time and can carefully draw your gesture. We have elevated the experience even further, by creating new Set Piece Cameras for EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile.

All our Set Piece cameras got completely reworked, and it breaks down into 2 major areas:

Direct Set Pieces

Our new Penalty Kick camera has a much lower angle and will bring you much closer to the action. We aim to capture the intensity and thrill of Penalties when facing off against the GK in a one-on-one battle.

Our new Direct Free Kick camera also has a lower angle, ensuring the player wall in front of you feels more intimidating and intentionally blocking the full view of the goal. We’ve added a dynamic camera effect, lifting you over the wall as the ball is being kicked.

Tactical Set Pieces

Corner Kicks now focus on the perspective of the kick taker. The elevated angle ensures it is still Tap to Pass-friendly and gives you a wider angle of vision of the field.

Deep and Wide Free Kicks also enjoy a higher and more tactical view, allowing you to easily pick the player or location you want to pass to.

Goal Kicks are the final piece that has been refreshed to be closer to the goalkeeper, but still provide a tactical view while taking in the stadium environment.

Tactical Set Pieces Camera Selection

You can now change between the Set Piece and Gameplay camera by pressing the Camera button during Tactical Set Pieces. The game will remember which angle you have selected and will use that angle going forward.

The Camera Panning during set pieces was improved to be more responsive. Now you can adjust the view angle to make the most out of your Set Piece.

Improved Goal Replays

To complement the visual upgrades, we wanted to make sure that you can celebrate your amazing goals by rewatching them in captivating Replay cameras. We overhauled our system, created new replay camera angles, and added a couple of effects to ensure each goal you score is presented well and remains memorable.

This applies to goal replays during and post-match. Especially for post-match goal replays, we created a sequence of 3 camera angles resulting in detailed replays, which are great for sharing with your friends on social media!

Dynamic HUD

We also revamped the HUD shown during the match to display reactive and custom information and further immerse you in the game. The dynamic HUD now simulates broadcasts of top leagues with much more fidelity.

Visual Upgrades

We've made significant improvements to the visual quality of the stadiums, bringing them to life with greater detail and realism. From the pitch to the stands, many aspects of the stadiums have been updated to provide you with a more authentic football experience. Here is a breakdown of the upgrades:

Pitch Grass Update

Upgraded pitch grass colour, rendering, and visuals for your players to dribble, run, and slide through on a lush, realistic surface.

Upgraded Crowds, Banners, and Flags

The crowd received a visual update so you can feel the energy of the stadium like never before. New visuals and animations paired with improved rendering will make your matches even more lively. You'll also notice that the fans will bring banners and flags and wave them from the stands to show their support.

New Lighting and Lens Flare Effects

Whether you're playing under the bright sun or at night under the floodlights, the improved lighting effects will make your matches feel more authentic. In addition, the new lens flare effects will add to the cinematic and dramatic feel when you're out there in the pitch.

Dynamic Ad Boards

Improved and more realistic ad boards on the sidelines will immerse you even deeper into the feeling of watching a top-level broadcast.

Audio Upgrades

From the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net after a Power Shot to the roar of the crowd, we've enhanced the sound effects to make you feel like you're right there on the pitch. Get ready to turn up the volume and experience the excitement of the game like never before with these audio upgrades!

Commentary Update

Enjoy more authentic and dynamic commentary that brings the broadcast to life. More real-time reactions and analysis with play-by-play coverage were included to add even more depth to your match experience.

Team Chants

We included team-specific chants that will soar through the stadium as you're playing, providing you with an immersive match experience as if you were right there in the stands.

Stadium Announcer

Feel the thrill as the new Stadium Announcer reacts to the match unfolding. With better goalscorer announcer coverage, you can hear the excitement as the announcer shouts out your goalscorer’s name.

Dynamic Crowd

Hear the crowd cheer for you like never before as they react and encourage you to give your best on the pitch.

• Updated reactions based on the match. Scoring a goal or even missing a chance will prompt genuine reactions from fans.
• The crowd will sense the anticipation and react to it. For example, when you are building up the play in attacking third, hear the crowd's excitement as you get closer to scoring.

Goal Net Sounds

We know that there aren't many things in the world more satisfying than hitting the back of the net. Scoring goals is even more rewarding now with new, crispier net sound effects.

Interface and Background Music

To take you to the new era of The World's Game, the entire user interface was reworked to reflect the newest EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile theme. From background imagery to animations, icons, and sound effects, your visual journey will feel fresh and modern while you prepare to get on the pitch.

As always, we are also updating the EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile background music playlist of finely curated tunes to enhance your experience while you navigate through the menus before kickoff.

3D Player Display
