The Mines of Moria Raid - Chapter 3!
Greetings Ring-bearers,
Coming to The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth™ is Chapter 3 of our Mines of Moria Raid!
‘Blades in the Dark’ will be available in-game in approximately mid-to-late September, 2023.
After a courageous and hard fought battle with the Moria Cave Troll, our heroes find themselves injured and exhausted. Depleted of resources, our vulnerable heroes become the target of the Orcs once more. Will your Ring of Power and the Champions you have collected be enough to avoid Capture and continue through the mines?
In ‘Blades in the Dark’, the attack from the Orcs is now a relentless assault. After receiving too many bomb blasts among their ranks, the Orcs have sidelined the Moria Bomber and have instead redirected their efforts. With each attack they will attempt to Mark and Capture your squad, tenaciously whittling through even the strongest defense. You’ll need to bring characters adept at Taunting and Healing to redirect the onslaught and to survive as long as possible.
No squad is better suited for the task than the brave and proud people of Gondor. Through the leadership of Denethor II, the Gondor squad is able to gain Immunity from the perilous Banes inflicted by the Orcs. With the help of his sons, Boromir and Faramir, Gondor is stronger together, gaining extra Block Chance for each living Gondor ally.
