How do I become a Playtester?

Join the program. Be sure to “Update your profile” to help us match you with future Playtests!

What should I expect after signing up?

Once you become a Playtester and update your profile, you will receive application emails for Playtests that you are eligible to participate in. These emails will include a survey to give us additional information about yourself and your gaming habits. If you fit the profile we need, you will receive an email with further instructions!

What type of people are we looking for?

We are on the lookout for players of all abilities, genders, experiences, and backgrounds! You don’t need to be an expert, or even a regular gamer - we want feedback from everyone!

I don’t live near any of the 6 Player Experience Labs

Can I still participate?

No need to worry! We offer at-home Playtests, which you can participate in from the comfort of your own home!

How can I maximize my chances of getting into a Playtest?

Increase your chances by signing up for as many Playtest dates as you are available for. Always be honest with your answers, and keep an eye on your inbox!

How often can I sign up for Playtest sessions?

You can sign up for as many or as few as you like! There are no obligations.

When will I be contacted after I sign up for a session?

Where EA Playtesting Emails Come From

At Electronic Arts (EA), we take player security seriously. If you're invited to EA Playtesting, it's important to identify official EA emails and avoid scams.

EA Playtesting emails will only come from these official EA domains:

  • @e.ea.com
  • @ea.com

If you receive an email that does not come from one of these domains, it is not from EA and should be treated cautiously.

How to Spot a Legitimate EA Playtesting Email

To verify an EA Playtesting email:

  1. Check the sender’s email address – It should match one of the official EA domains listed above.
  2. Look for red flags – EA will never ask for your password, payment details, or other sensitive personal information via email.
  3. Verify through official EA channels – If an email claims to be from EA but seems suspicious, log in to your EA account or visit ea.com/playtesting/faq to confirm its legitimacy.
