Getting your start in the Gaming Industry: Student Q&A with our Developers

Hear from Motive developers during a live Q&A session in-studio with Montreal university students, about to launch a career in gaming.

Recently, Motive hosted students from McGill, Concordia and ÉTS for a Happy Hour with our developers. The leads of their associations Hanine, Guillaume and Josh and sat down with the Dead Space™ Producer, Creative Director and Technical Director to ask them about their early career decisions in gaming, and to demystify topics like portfolios and work/life balance:

  • What advice do you have for a student wanting to enter the gaming industry?
  • What’s the best lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
  • When did you know that game development was what you wanted to do?

Get answers to the top questions students are asking themselves, and for more learning resources follow us on Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn.
