The FC Pro Open champion was crowned on Saturday evening after months of high-level action on FC24. There was no shortage of drama as eight of the best players went head-to-head, with the tension high from the very first game playing gateway to earning qualification to both the FC Pro World Championships and FC25 FC Pro Open.
The most powerful teams were selected at the competition yet after fans voted for the squad draft requirements on X. That meant that each player had an unlimited budget to construct their teams, with the only restriction being that they had to include four SBC items in their starting line-ups. That saw squads worth more than 100 million coins.
Let’s take a look at how each player drafted, and how their selections performed on the night.

FC Pro Open Finals Draft Review
It was clear early on that TOTY Kylian Mbappe would have a big say at the FC Pro Open Finals. Mbappe was the most selected gold card item across the FC Pro Open group stage phase, and the unlimited budget meant that all eight players selected his TOTY edition.
The Frenchman was faultless across the event, scoring a range of goals with many set up from precise skill moves in dangerous areas, as well as fake trivelas before speed-boosting into the box.
TOTY Haaland was one of the late arrivals at the FC Pro Open, first announcing himself at the release of the most anticipated promotion of the FC24 season. He was again undefendable and even had the better of TOTY van Dijk on several occasions. He started in seven of the eight teams at the FC Pro Open Finals.
But it wasn’t just upfront where items were shining. TOTY Alexia Putellas was also picked as a starter in seven of the eight teams, with her shots from outside of the box and quick movement difficult to contend with. She impressed alongside Kevin De Bruyne (six selections), and also Bruno Fernandes (five selections) – who remains an available Squad Building Challenge at an affordable price.
De Bruyne and Fernandes both stood out in particular for their pinged pass ability, which was played before a first-time ball to another forward to strike at goal.
TOTY Caroline Graham Hansen was the only remaining unique item by the semi-finals, having been selected by Vejrgang. The Norway international star scored a key goal at an important time in the semi-final match against Levi De Weerd, tapping into an empty net from the cut-back just seconds before half-time.
TOTY Erling Haaland was the difference in the final for PHzin, but a special mention is also deserved for the selection of Winter Wildcard Gullit, who made countless defensive stops against Vejrgang.
Some percentages from the FC Pro Open Finals
Two players received 100% pick rates in the starting teams at the FC Pro Open Finals. They were TOTY van Dijk and TOTY Kylian Mbappe.
Erling Haaland was also among the most popular items, having been picked to start in seven of the eight sides. Alexia Putellas and Flashback Davies (SBC) also received the same pick rate.
Only two players were unique items this week, with Vejrgang’s choice of Caroline Graham Hansen and Obrun’s TOTY Rio Ferdinand pick.
Goalkeeper choices were split between Flashback Lloris (four selections - 50%) and Icon Schmeichel (four selections - 50%)

The four SBC squad draft requirements saw some differentiation between sides, but there were many similarities in midfield and attack. Obrun’s selection of TOTY Rio Ferdinand was one of the few unique selections at the Finals alongside Vejrgang’s Caroline Graham Hansen, and while Vejrgang still played good enough to win the tournament, it was TOTY Haaland who eventually made the difference with an unstoppable performance in the final.
