On another memorable night of FC Pro Open action, Vejrgang became the first player in this year's Group Stages to remain unbeaten.
Having topped Group C, the Danish superstar will be joined in the Finals by AbuMakkah, who impressed once again on Match Week 7 after picking up big wins over Seanldw and AntoniniGabriel.
Meanwhile, World Champion ManuBachoore secured his first victory of the competition to seal a top-four finish.
Here then, is how Match Week 7 unfolded on Monday evening in London's East End.
Round 6
Match Week 7 began with a pivotal clash between AntoniniGabriel and world champion ManuBachoore, who started the night bottom without a win to his name.
Seven points off second-placed AbuMakkah, the Dutchman went into the match knowing anything less than a win wouldn't be good enough. He wasted no time in getting his first win of the FC Pro Open on the board, defeating the Italian 8-3 to keep his feint hopes of reaching the Finals alive.
"I'm just focusing on myself," ManuBachoore stated after his win.
The other game in Round 6 saw AbuMakkah extend his gap to third-placed Seanldw, sealing a dominant 6-1 win over his nearest rival to put himself on the precipice of qualification.
Round 7
The following round saw two stars of Esports - Vejrgang and ManuBachoore - face off.
It was yet another must-win for the Team Gullit star, and he got off to a promising start, taking a 2-1 lead over the Dane in the 30th-minute courtesy of TOTY Erling Haaland.
Ever the competitor, Vejrgang refused to give up, eventually turning things around to win 5-2 against his long-time rival. Such was the acrimony between the pair, that Anders seemingly refused to shake his opponent's hand after the match.
Meanwhile, across the room, Seanldw produced a remarkable comeback to defeat AntoniniGabriel 4-3 - and stay alive in Group C.
Round 8
Round 8 provided Team Falcons's AbuMakkah with his first chance to qualify for the Finals. However, a draw with MacuBachoore - now out of the running to qualify - meant the celebrations couldn't begin just yet.
By contrast, Anders Vejrgang did pounce on his opportunity to book his place in the Finals with games to spare, after successfully closing out a 4-2 win against AntoniniGabriel.
Round 9
The penultimate Round of the evening saw AbuMakkah finally wrap-up qualification, having held off a late comeback by AntoniniGabriel to win 7-5.
Vejrgang didn't have it all his own way in the other match, with Seanldw scoring a 93rd-minute equaliser to earn the German 5-5 draw.
Round 10
Heading into the final round, the only thing left to be decided was the small matter of who'd top the Group, with ManuBachoore and Seanldw having already finished inside the top four - and thus qualified for next year's FC Pro Open Global Qualifier.
As the luck of the draw would have it, Vejrgang and AbuMakkah faced each other in the final game of Group C, with the winner sealing top spot.
While Abu provided a stern test of his opponent's credentials, Vejrgang was simply too strong in the end, powering his way to another 5-2 win.
The victory not only sealed first place, it also meant Vejrgang became the first player in this year's Group Stages to remain unbeaten.
"I'm very happy, and now it's time for people to wake up and see that I'm the best in the Pro tournaments, not just in league [competitions]," the group winner said afterwards.
The other game in Round 10 saw ManuBachoore end his campaign on a high by defeating Seanldw 7-2.
Vejrgang and AbuMakkah Face Brazilian Challenge
Monday's results have set up a pair of fantastic FC Pro Open Quarter-finals, as Vejrgang faces Young, while AbuMakkah will meet Group B winner PHzin in the last eight.
"There's no difference between playing Young or PHzin, it's fine," AbuMakkah stated after reaching the Finals.
"I just want to be qualified for the World Championships[now], that's my aim."
That's all for Match Week 7, we'll see you next Monday for the conclusion of Group D!
