The B-wing is a true blockade buster deployed by the New Republic. While it hardly stands on its own in a one-on-one against a dogfight specialist, its integrated ion cannons supplement the equipped primary weapon, helping to whittle down enemy shields and subsystems. A novel gyroscopic cockpit design permits the B-wing to deploy its larger capacity bomb payloads in multiple directions relative to the cockpit.
