FC Pro Open officially reached the halfway point on Monday night as Group D took to the stage in London for the final session before the holiday break.
Each player had a budget of 9 million coins to put together their drafts, and after Icon week in Match Week 3, new requirements saw all teams required to have only two items per league. That meant the return of some of the most popular items at the FC Pro Open so far.

FC Pro Open Match Week 4 FC Pro Draft Review
Match Week 4 got off to an exciting start with Tekkz taking on Levi de Weerd, providing the first glimpse of the returns of two of the most popular items at the FC Pro Open so far in Kylian Mbappe and Virgil van Dijk.
An Mbappe strike from a standing position was key in helping Levi de Weerd secure the victory, though it also raised questions over Tekkz’s goalkeeper selection.
The Manchester City esports pro is the only player to have drafted Mike Maignan at the event across all four match weeks, but while he provided chemistry for his left-back item choice of Dynasties Theo Hernandez, there were times he could have done better. Not least when he was beaten by the Paris Saint-Germain striker again in round two with a strike across goal despite correct goalkeeper movement by Tekkz.
Peter Schmeichel, selected by both The1OS and Levi de Weerd was the standout goalkeeper on Match Week 4, with the Icon item reliable across the night.

Fouma shone using Mbappe with the stepover acceleration boost, and he was also the only player in Match Week 4 to select Vinicius Jr, an item that suited his attacking playstyle. The Brazilian has now been selected six times at the FC Pro Open.
Base Hero David Ginola (selected by all five teams in Match Week 4) and Caroline Graham Hansen (also selected by all five teams including her gold and trailblazer item) were also key in the attacking third, with both scoring crucial goals for all competitors on the night.
Radioactive Mazraoui became the second Radioactive item to feature at the FC Pro Open behind Federico Valverde, and he featured in the team of the1OS who selected him as a chemistry link to Thunderstruck Alphonso Davies.
Obrun selected the only item from the current FC24 promotion in TOTGS Joao Cancelo, who helped the Italian to seven points from his four games.
Some percentages from Match Week 4 of the FC Pro Open
Excluding Icon week when he wasn’t eligible in Match Week 3, Virgil van Dijk is the only player to have been selected in 100% of teams at the FC Pro Open after featuring in all five teams in Match Week Four.
Lukas remains the only player to not have selected Kylian Mbappe, with the French striker selected in 14 of 15 possible teams at the FC Pro Open. A percentage of 93.33%.
Mike Maignan was selected in just one (5%) of teams at the FC Pro Open through Match Week’s 1-4 after he was drafted by Tekkz. Peter Schmeichel, including Icon week in Match Week 3, was picked the most at 45% (nine times).
Caroline Graham Hansen has been selected by 73% of teams in the three match weeks she was eligible for, though that figure is combined of her gold (8) and her trailblazers item (3).
Here’s how the group looks after Match Week 4 of the FC Pro Open

Levi de Weerd is in command of Group D with nine points, and that means FC Pro Live Ivan Cavaleiro is just one point away from receiving his second IF upgrade.
Seven points for Fouma means FC Pro Live Jean-Victor Makengo will receive an IF upgrade as well as a relative playstyle and playing position. Obrun has achieved the same rewards for centre-back Isak Hien.
Fabinho has earned a single IF upgrade after The1OS registered four points, but a disappointing performance for Tekkz means the most expensive FC Pro Live item before the event in Kalvin Phillips ends Match Week 4 without any improvements.
Who won the draft on Match Week 4 of the FC Pro Open
It’s time to decide who drafted the best team in Match Week 4.
Tekkz has most work to do after registering just a single point from the four matches, and he was let down by both goalkeeper Mike Maignan and Icon Rio Ferdinand, who committed four fouls leading to penalties.

Levi de Weerd’s draft provided attacking flair at full-back with the selections of Thunderstruck Davies and Cafu, while he also constructed a reliable midfield trio of RTTK Modric, Alexia Putellas, and TOTW Valverde.
Obrun’s selections of Base Hero Yaya Toure and Hero Bompastor may see his choices favoured by some players, but he also selected Rio Ferdinand, who was one of the underperforming items on the night. The English defender featured in eight games in Match Week Four for Obrun and Tekkz, conceding a total of 27 goals.
Both Fouma and Levi de Weerd made the best draft selections relative to their playstyles, and if you are a fan of five-star skills, it is difficult not to see the Lorient esports star’s as best, though those who pay more attention to the defence will prefer the Dutchman’s.
