STAR WARS™: SQUADRONS HULL COMPONENTS

Ultimately, your starfighter’s hull is the only thing standing between you and the perils of space. Your choice of hull will affect your starfighter’s speed, how resilient it is against certain weapons, your enemies’ ability to lock on with missiles, and more. All hulls are passive components.

Dampener Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull modified to accommodate sensor dampeners. This modification makes it harder for enemies to lock-on, but increases the hull’s fragility. Counters lock-on weapons such as Tractor Beams and Ion Missiles.

Deflector Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull modified to accommodate additional shield projectors. This modification increases shield capacity, but also increases the hull’s fragility. Useful because Shield HP regenerates, while Hull HP doesn't.

Ferroceramic Hull

Hull
Passive
A standard starfighter hull that provides a good balance of protection and sturdiness. No bonuses or drawbacks. A good all-around choice, but doesn't excel in any category.

Laminasteel Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull reinforced with alloys that are stronger against physical attacks such as missiles and bombs, but weaker against primary weapons like laser fire.

Light / Agile Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull stripped of all unessential parts to decrease weight and increase speed, while also making the hull more susceptible to damage. Ideal for hit-and-run tactics and out-flying foes.

Reflec Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull coated with the reflec polymer, making your ship invisible to radars beyond a certain distance. Substantially weaker than standard hulls.

Reinforced Hull

Hull
Passive
A hull that has been reinforced with additional alloys that increase protection, but decrease speed due to the extra weight. Ideal if you’d rather take more incoming fire than usual. Load More
